About Me

 

After many years working as a graphic designer I discovered a passion for baking and creating special cakes for my daughter and family.  As friends began to ask for cakes for their special occasions it was the obvious choice to turn my passion into my career.

 

I started making lots of novelty cakes, which I still love to create, and achieved awards at the UK's top cake show, took part in collaborations with some of the country's top cake designers and had a tutorial featured in a cake magazine.

A few of years ago I ventured into making wedding cakes and I met have lots of lovely couples and made some amazing and challenging cakes.

​

Recently I opened a very successful little coffee shop, The Thistle Coffee House, which keeps me very busy.  I do still take limited cake orders but my diary fills up quickly.  So, if you're looking for a special celebration cake please get in touch.
